How We Work
Our process
1
Discovery conversation
We learn about your background, study history, career goals, budget, preferred city, and timeline. This shapes everything that follows.
2
Course research
We search our database of 25,000+ CRICOS courses and identify 3-5 options that match your profile - considering visa eligibility, tuition fees, recognition, and career outcomes.
3
Presentation and comparison
We present your options clearly - tuition fees, campus location, course duration, English requirements, and migration pathway alignment.
4
Application and enrolment
Once you choose, we coordinate your application with the institution and ensure you receive your CoE in time for your visa application.
FAQ
Common questions
What is a CRICOS-registered course?
CRICOS stands for Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students. Only CRICOS-registered courses can be used to apply for a Student Visa 500. Every course we recommend is CRICOS-registered.
Can I change my course after arriving in Australia?
Yes, in most cases - but it must be to another CRICOS-registered course. There are restrictions in the first 6 months and some transfer conditions may apply. We advise on this during course selection.
Does Edvise charge for course selection?
Our course selection service is free for students. We are paid by our partner schools when a student enrolls. This does not affect our advice - we recommend what's right for you.
How do I know a course is good quality?
We recommend TAFE institutions, public universities, and reputable private providers with strong student outcomes. We share feedback from students we've placed and explain each institution's strengths.
Can I study my field if my English isn't strong enough?
Yes - we can recommend an ELICOS (English language) program first, followed by your target course. This is a very common and smart pathway.
